HYBRID
In library automation, self-check stations, return stations and staff workstations that can read barcode labels and RFID tags are called hybrid systems.
The technology
Many libraries need time to convert to RFID. Hybrid systems can provide a smooth transition when several branches convert to RFID, but other branches still operate with their existing barcode labels. With this option, RFID and barcode items can be processed at the same self check unit or AMH system. All mk products are all available as hybrid systems. Electromagnetic security features are added as an option.
