The Job
mk Solutions Inc. is an innovative company that specializes in providing library solutions including complete RFID systems, automated materials handling equipment, and book dispensing units to the library market. We are currently seeking a full time C# .NET Desktop and Web-Developer to join our team as we expand in the US and Canadian market who would be responsible for providing outstanding customer service as well as technical support for our products.
As a Developer, you will be working with other programmers to design and develop web-based solutions in regards to our software on a range of products and devices. Projects may range in complexity from smaller tasks remotely supporting customers and end users or bigger projects with emphasis on developing software used on mk Solutions’ variety of products.
Our ideal candidate will be organized, ambitious and self-motivated. We are looking for an experienced team player that is willing to work in coordination with our project management and sales staff to reach our strategic goals. Candidates that apply should have strong administrative and communication skills, attention to detail and enthusiasm to succeed.

- Researching concepts and trends within the industry
- Creating solutions as an individual and in a team environment
- Web and network development
- Provide service to our US and Canada markets with backup from our German based programming, engineering, and manufacturing groups, and U.S. local technicians
- Remotely support customers and end users via email, phone or site visits (when needed)

Requirements
Your Skills
- Must be available 40 hours per week
- Must be able to work independently
- Ability to travel (5-15%)
- Strong written, verbal, reporting, and organization skills
- Experience with troubleshooting network, PC and PLC based software and electrical controls hardware
- Knowledge of tools and techniques for accessing PCs remotely for the purposes of providing technical support, and/or gathering diagnostic information. Familiarity with PC and controls networking, wired or wireless
- Ability to prospect, build strong relationships, problem solve and think outside the box
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks
- Must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and with teammates, prioritize work, complete assignments timely and maintain a professional manner in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Library market knowledge and RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) experience a plus
- Minimum Education – Associates Degree in IT/Computer Science Field, Vocational Certification or equivalent experience
- + .NET development experience (C#, Forms, ASP.NET MVC 5)
- + Programming languages C#, Javascript, XML, SQL, HTML5, CSS3
- + Experience with Agile/Scrum principles would be a plus
- + Operating system Windows XP/2003/2008/2012
- Techniques involved: MySQL, SQLite, SignalR, jQuery
- Optional: Experience in Mono/Linux/Xamarin
